Before anything, Merry Christmas everyone! I am both glad and sad that this holiday is finally here. Glad because family has always been an important event, sad because one of my most personal tragedies took place on Christmas day in 1976. We always remember the loved ones lost, don't we? How do I take mind off these losses? By taking care of the living. Sharing in the sheer joy of the holiday season and spending time with the ones I love. Spending time with those in my social network and causing the mutual life assistance that life is supposed to be. I am one of those who cannot live this life alone and do not believe that we were meant to. I know that my life goes much better, and holds a great deal more excitement, if I let other human beings into it. Having friends has a great deal to do with getting rid of the holiday blues. Having friends means that I can expect at least one smile in my day. Having friends means having someone to talk to. That is what Christmas means to me.
