I read a forum post last month saying that Google will be doing this. All of the pages that I have checked this morning have a zero PR. I checked the various servers that Google uses to store PR data, including some of my higher PR competitors, and they all reflect a zero PR.

This means that the original basis on which Google was invented is no more.

What to do? Focus on traffic and your customer's experience.

Google is supposed to be coming up with a new metric based on visitor experienced called the Visitor Ranking.

I believe this is going to include, as part of the formula, social site activity since it has become so popular in today's internet.
