The best way to gain the support from your spouse/significant other is to show them that you want them to be involved. I have spent many a conversation boring my wife to death talking about online Internet marketing. I know at times she has no clue whatsoever I am talking about, but she does see my passion for it. I make her a part of my Internet business by getting her opinion on many topics. She listens to my rants and raves and having someone who is on the outside of online Internet business, she gives me great feedback on what would attract her to a site or business opportunity. Tonight for example, I asked her for advice on what a good article title would be and she came up with this one here I am writing as we speak! You cannot leave them in the dark. You need to show them what you are doing and get their very valuable input. It makes you better when trying to attract prospects. I constantly ask my wife to proofread articles, view my online Internet business website, my blogs, and give an opinion on new ideas. She is an honest, non-Internet marketing source that helps me see things that I do not. My wife stands by me and knows now why I do this. She has become a very stable and wonderful support for me to turn to. I go at this as something that will be our success and not just my own. You have to value your spouse or significant other's perspective because it can make a HUGE difference in how you grow, prosper, and thrive in your online Internet business. Hey Doug,
I have to admit I have heard that exact comment of "get off the damn computer and rub my feet!" So I can definitely relate to your blog. I agree that asking your spouse for input can be very helpful. My wife does happen to be involved with several of my business endeavors, although the internet blogging and article writing glazes her over. If you get some time, take a look at my blog, The Kaighn Report, and leave a comment. It would be appreciated!
