I wanted to share about an article that I read in the magazine "Fast Company" September 2007 issue. We are all overly concerned about whether or not we are going to make money on the internet. This example shows how easy it actually is and how little effort is actually takes.

The website is called Whateverlife.com. It is not a particularly remarkable site, but it has one thing that apparently has become a very popular niche because the search term is the most common in the search engines today. The search term is MySpace Layout, and this website has one very simple link leading to a subpage all about MySpace Layouts for girls.

Whateverlife.com has a zero (0) advertising budget. 100% of the income comes from Google Adsense. The layouts are built by programmers in India by contract.

I picked up a pretty neat MySpace layout based on The Matrix theme, even though, for the most part the layouts are pretty "foo foo".

Whateverlive attracts a few hundred thousand girls a day, traffic that most of us only dream of. But I think it is possible, with a little imagination, to come up with a high traffic niche and either write articles or develop websites that will draw traffic. Ashley, that is the owners name, just made it look easy.

Here is the one remarkable fact about this clever webmaster...she is only 17 years old.

How would you have liked to have a million bucks in the bank at 17 by accident?

If any of you don't already know, I have coined a phrase that I use frequently:

Internet Marketing By Accident

Ashley's website is the best example that I have ever seen of this.

Good marketing!

There is no book yet. I have just coined the phrase "Internet Marketing By Accident".

Maybe there will be one in the future.

It's a good phrase. Hurry and use the phrase with a book--or at least with a pamphlet or a short ebook before someone else does! The gal in your article found an open window of opportunity, perhaps this is yours!
