Cyrus Afzali is president of Astoria Communications, a suburban New York City-based public relations consultancy that serves clients in the areas of financial/professional services, technology and real estate. Afzali's clients include law firms, legal organizations, technology companies and serveral well-known non-profit organizations. Prior to opening his own PR consultancy in 2004, Afzali worked at several well-known New York-area agencies. Before going into public relations, Afzali served as an editor and writer at several media outlets, ranging from small, daily newspapers to CNN Financial News.
