Comedy has been a part of Broadway since time immemorial and a true master piece of the genre is Boeing Boeing, a Broadway play that epitomizes a perfect laughing riot. Designated as 'the funniest show in London' by the Daily Telegraph, this amazing production will have you rolling on the floor laughing your guts out. What makes Boeing Boeing even more of a must watch, apart from being a brilliant comedy, is the way in which it binds together a lot of sub-plots and manages to weave in itself every emotion possible. Synopsis Bernard, a successful and flirtatious Parisian architect, feels that juggling 3 equally beautiful girls is a piece of cake. He feels that with his looks, charm and wit, he can easily cope with the pressures of romancing his three air-hostess fiancées - an American - Gloria, an Italian - Gabriella and a German – Gretchen. While all three are not gold diggers or vain in the real sense of the word, their attachment to Bernard's money and their over-confidence has been hinted time and again during the course of the play. When Bernard's school friend, Robert, unexpectedly arrives, the former cannot wait to dazzle his buddy with his skills of woman juggling. After all, it's only a question of proper time-table regulation and sticking to the schedule. Unfortunately for Bernard, a new, super fast Boeing airplane is unveiled, due to which the timings change and his time-table becomes more and more hectic. Other changes including flight cancellations, ensure more mayhem and the protagonist gets stuck in a vortex of confusion. Amidst all the chaos is the housekeeper Bertha, who also acts as the 'air traffic controller' but is now finding it more and more difficult. As the lies become too many altogether to control and the danger of the girls coming face to face becomes more eminent, a laughing riot like no other follows. Finally, things even out as Robert becomes involved with Gretchen, Bernard keeps Gabriella and Gloria leaves to find a more suitable husband. Boeing Boeing, Broadway's funniest show encompasses a story which unfolds complete with comedy, shocks and emotions.
