Convert Old Movies to DVD Format...

Technology is perpetually proceeding at the speed of light, and in just about all cases the things you have not been able to do in the past, you can do now. Things are forever moving, always getting better and always becoming a greater rate of quality. As luck would have it for us, there are people or businesses to be more specific that know how to transfer your old movies to DVDs. Your movies can range anywhere from 8mm, 16mm, super 8mm, VHS and video tapes, and what's better is this won't cost you an arm and a leg! I have seen a few sites online that offered this service and the prices are as low as 10 cents per foot for the 8mm to DVD transfer! The differences between old film reels and DVD is quite amazing.

First of all you have the quality. We all know by now that DVD, Bluray, and HD give you an unbelievable vision of quality when it comes to the "graphics", whereas films? Not so much. You know you have all those cosmetic imperfections such as blotches and spots. Some people might like that "old school" look, but for me I want all my films to be updated and be as high quality as possible!

Secondly this is a really easy process, especially if you deal with a company that has been doing this for a while. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying new business are going to screw your film up, I'm just saying DO your research! Go online and look for reviews, see what people say about various sites, various prices, customer service, ease of the process, etc.

And lastly this process is unbelievably practical. You know that giant box you have sitting in your garage with all those dusty old film reels that you never know what to do with? Well now rather than having a giant box with tons of reels, you can have a couple really nice compact DVDs! Now you can actually throw that box out!

I've personally tried services such as these, and I know of a a couple of people in my family that have had it done, and really its worth the few dollars it costs to transfer over. I can't even begin to explain how much happier I am with these DVDs than I was with those old film reels! This is just one of those things you have to try to believe it! Accept it from me, you really won't be let down!
