When your journey begins, you will come across websites that will allow you to download any Playstation 3 they offer, but with a price tag attached to it. The bad news is you do have to pay something, but the good news is they are one-time fees out there that are well worth the cost. Most are about $20 less then what a new PS3 game costs at a retail store near you. These are the ones that have the largest download databases available.
You'll probably want to try to prove us wrong which is fine, but when you find free sites that are truly "free", they don't have the quality, the selection, or the reputation. Plus, some of them may have viruses or spy ware attached that can only make matters worse for you. So stick with the membership sites. Yes, you're going to pay money to join. Then again, weren't you already going to spend that on a new game?

At the end of the day, the majority of your decision is going to surround money. So just think about this for a moment. What if you bought just two games a month at $20 a piece. Yes, we are low-balling this but there's a reason behind the madness. In one year's time, you would spend $480. Obviously, this would be on older games at that price, but it's still a lot of money for video games right?
Well, what if for the cost of two older games you could pay a onetime fee and get both old and new games. It's definitely something we don't need to spell out for you because the positive results are obvious. If you want to save money and still have the largest download database then you pay a onetime fee. The extra money can be used for bills, more PS3 accessories, or whatever you want to spend it on. It's your money, why waste it.
