Alice began an Internet business nearly four years prior to the present status. While determining the lady's marketing technique, she started off with something called Google Adwords. She set out to research the ins and outs of a web technique called Google Adwords. Accordingly, Alice purchased plenty of downloadable books describing Google Adwords. And acquired whatever probable knowledge possible regarding this technique.
As she went along in her web based undertaking, Alice came across eBay. She realized that it was possible for her to sell her products on eBay. Thereby, Alice switched from one selling method to another. In the four years when she was occupied with marketing on the net, Alice came upon pay-per-click campaigns, email marketing and building subscription lists, posting in forums, joint ventures, including affiliate marketing, and posting articles in directories, and blog posting.
At every stage, Alice learnt as much as she was able to about the subject under question.
Thereby, Alice was shown the full range of marketing techniques used in internet marketing. Still, four years after venturing into doing business on the Internet, Alice has not made any money worth mentioning. This is nowhere near her goals when she started out.
Thus, the most relevant query is : What is the best way to market digital or physical products? To find the right answer to this question, you must answer the following probing questions:
1. How much time are you willing to spend? Every day? At the weekends?
2. Are you ready to wait to establish infrastructure before launching your product or service in the marketplace?
3. What figure do you have in mind are you willing to invest?
4. Can you repose a few weeks for profits to commence? Or you want results at once?
5. Are you selling products in which you have expertise?
6. Do you know enough about your product to be able to persuade a prospective buyer?
7. If not, are you able to put your hand on a particular niche of expertise?
8. Are you well informed about your target market sufficient to develop products meeting their needs?
9. Then, would you be agreeable to using problem solving skills for understanding your target market? Do you have the perseverance to learn the use of such tools?
10. Do you have logical thinking abilities?
11. Do you have it in you to inquire into subjects?
12. Can you use the words to sell that your target market wants to hear?
13. Would you like writing network blogs and articles to found your professional reputation on?
14. Do you have writing skills?
15. If not, are you willing to hire a ghostwriter to write for you?
16. Do you keep in touch with your personal and professional contacts? In other words, do you mix well with people?
If you answer the queries given above frankly, the optimal method of generating sales for your goods will become apparent. However, what needs to be stressed is to focus on a particular method, and derive all benefits from it before you begin on switching techniques. Dont go for all avenues, all at once, like Alice did. You will wind up with nothing on hand.
