The tools on this site are down to earth and user friendly. It does of course have some rules and do's and dont's, so here we can take an overview of HubPages itself.
A hub is a web page with information written by you, not copied from elsewhere, about any subject. The great thing is that there is so much you can do to make it interesting for the reader and we all know that relevant interest creates buying customers. In addition, you can add pictures and of course you can put that all important link in there taking the user straight to your website. You can add video content to your page and we all just love to watch a video. The visitor will be able to click on that link you put in the video to take them straight to your website business.
You can even put your favourite YouTube video or Google video on Hubpages for that extra effect and if you didn't know, you can put your photo's on there from your digital camera, your computer or directly from the web itself, as long as there is no copyright of course. This is great for making money online.
Each time you write content, Hubpages will notify all your readers! Wow. As you are writing your new content with all it's images, information and video's, Hubpages are making sure that Google, Yahoo and other search engines find you. You can even earn some cash by displaying Google and Kontera ads on your content page and they even put the ad on for you and it will only be such as is relevant to your content.
Let your content be relevant, fresh and up to date and this being the case your work on Hubpages will be ongoing in order to keep it up to date etc. Don't place too many links on your page as it is frowned upon and you may if you continue the practice be eventually closed with none of your hubs being published.
If you're a business you will undoubtedly want to use the site to be making money on the internet and the same rules will apply here as they do on other sites. Do not blatantly promote yourself. Just discuss your topic and point the reader to your one or two links. If you have made the content relevant and interesting he or she will click on the link without your asking anyway.
Make sure your content is long enough. If it is ridiculously small it will not be accepted. Do not copy others' works. Your website needs to be good quality, if not then your content will not be accepted while the links themselves must certainly not be deceptive. Take the person to the place you said you would take them.
HubPages is an exciting site and allows you to easily tell others of your website business whilst working from home. Use it wisely and your website business can only but grow.
