Now there are a few different ways to generate free home based business leads, but they all revolve around one key thing: a squeeze page.
You may know it as a lead capture page, or a splash page. A squeeze page is simply a small page that captivates the visitor's curiosity into signing up for your newsletter. Your visitors should not have to scroll to read everything, so keep everything above the fold, including the sign up form. My strategy is usually having an interesting headline followed by some intriguing benefits and details, and then my opt-in form. A squeeze page is not meant to be completely informative, so only give enough info to grasp their interest, then give incentives to join your mailing list.
To promote your squeeze page and starting getting those free home based business leads, you have several options as far as free advertising goes. You can write articles and submit them to article directories, with a link to your squeeze page in the resource box. You can post in forums related to your mailing list with a link in your signature file. You can also promote your squeeze page on traffic exchanges. These are just a few options, there are many more for you to discover.
This is how I save money by not buying leads, but generating them myself. If you work hard enough with these methods you might not have a need at all to buy leads anymore.
