1. Focus On Income - Seek for ways to generate wealth. Think outside of the box. Each time new technology or ideas are introduced into the market, the individual's wants and needs change. Locate a need and then find out how you're going to fill it. 2. Relax and Float the River - Allow things to take place in their time. With all the madness of daily life, it is no surprise that it may take a little while for your new company or product/service to start receiving some attention. Be patient. If your company follows correct principles, the benefits will inevitably come. 3. Squandering Funds - Don't stack up liabilities, offices, nice cars and needless expenses before you have your revenue model worked out. The suggestion that you should "fake it till you make it" doesn't work in business. Much needed funds can quickly be frittered away when you start attempting to appear to be a booming business. All this will do is leave you with a failing company and a lot of debt. 4. Decide on Facts not Fiction - Take the time to research and evaluate the facts. Dream big and then use your thinking and logic abilities to evaluate the facts and decide if it is realistic. 5. Don't Shoot for the Sake of Shooting - If it doesn't make sense, and you do not understand your revenue model, do not start the company. Again, be patient. Do not start a business unless you know that it's right. The right idea will come to you if you give it time. 6. Be Market Driven - Focus on your revenue model and modify when necessary to find the perfect combination and a model that people would be willing to buy. Before launching any product ask yourself, "What kind of problem do the people have that this new product would solve? Which people have this problem? How many people have this problem? How much cash could those people afford to spend?" and lastly ask "What is my solution?" Don't give your ideas to the market unless you know they want them.
