Since water won't really burn, how in the world can it power a car? It will turn to steam if you heat it and boil away. The answer is that it won't power a car. Remember, water won't burn and we need something that will burn to operate our internal combustion engines. But, water is composed of oxygen and hydrogen. And, hydrogen will burn. It will burn quite readily and we have known that for many years. And, oxygen will change the flash point of fuels depending upon the concentration. So, water, a substance we have always trusted to put out fires and quench our thirst is composed of some potentially dangerous elements.
That gets us back to the subject of water powered cars. What we are really talking about is cars that use the hydrogen in a quantity of water to assist in powering our car. I say assist, because most water powered cars still use gasoline or diesel as a primary fuel and only incorporate hydrogen in a gaseous form to make them use less gasoline or diesel and thus get more miles per gallon of fuel. So, maybe, we should call these vehicles gasoline and hydrogen powered cars.
Anyhow, this technology has been around for many years. We just didn't use it much because petroleum products or oil, was so plentiful. That situation is changing and now people are searching for more information to help add the equipment to their cars and trucks to take advantage of the money they can save. Many people just do not understand the theory behind separating hydrogen from water. They just believe that water won't burn, so this cannot work.
But, it does work. You can buy a guide online that will explain the details, and with a little mechanical know-how, construct and install a system to separate hydrogen from water and improve your fuel mileage.
