Matthew Lesko, most commonly known as the guy on late night infomercials with the famous question mark suit, has been advertising books about how to pay bills using the government's money for some time. The problem, however, is that the government doesn't award grants that assist consumers to pay off their car, mortgage, credit cards, or any other debt. When asked about this issue Matthew Lesko acknowledged that his book on how to pay bills with government money was not totally accurate and that there are a lot of untruths and exaggerations included. This is sad because there are a lot of Americans that watch these commercials on TV, or other ads, and assume there truly are government grants out there to help them pay bills.
The advice and information in Matthew Lesko's books is information that just about anyone can find out by reviewing documents put out by the government concerning available grants and the like. However, the concern with the books on free money to pay bills by Lesko is that he takes the available information and writes it in a way that makes it sound like just about anyone can call the government, ask for this mysterious money to pay off bills, and basically get out of debt instantly. Unfortunately, this is simply not the circumstance. The government does give out millions of dollars per year in grants that benefit a great deal of students, businesses, organizations, and others. It is not true that if you need help paying your credit card bill this month that you'll be able to receive the money from the US government in order to do so.
Regardless, if you were to open the books by Matthew Lesko, he continually talks about grants to pay your bills, and that it occurs fast, and with little effort. This is very deceptive since the grants awarded by the government aren't easily come by and require a great deal of patience and work. Grants that aren't in existence, such as those to pay your bills, are impossible to apply for and receive since they aren't there. Because of this inaccurate information, it's truly important for those in danger financially who are looking for assistance to save their money to pay bills rather than spend it on a book to teach them how to get the government to send them a grant to do so.
The advertising of these free money programs is really convincing and people trust what they read in advertisements and see on TV. However, the old adage of 'if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is' should come into play. Realize that before you grab the phone and spend $40 or more on a book that will help you pay debts with government grant money that you really need to do your homework and read what other people think of the program. Study reviews online and in just a short time you will know if there is in fact a program available that has a way of finding free government grant money to help you. You will unquestionably discover that the government does not offer grants to pay bills and you may decide to save your money not buying the book and focus on paying off your bills another way.
