Your article should be designed to attract the attention and interest of readers that are interested in products you have for sale on your website. So, look for questions that people may have already asked regarding your type of product. If your product is a software that manages a business such as dog kennels, check out forums that deal with dogs and their management. Find out what people are concerned about and steer your article toward addressing their questions.
You could do a search on Google using the keywords of your topic. You will find many places online where people have asked each other for answers regarding the topic of your article.
Put together a group of questions and answer them. Make sure they follow the same theme. A group of about five questions will provide the structure for a well laid out article. You could use bullet points to make it easier to follow. Use real detailed information to actually give your article substance.
Offer the idea that more information could be obtained from other sources online. Try to convey to the reader that you are an authority on the subject. Include a resource box or link to your website with a free offer of more information such as a guide with much more information for the reader at no cost to him for joining your mailing list. And, make sure you over-provide the reader with more than you promise. It always makes the reader pleased to get a great deal and he will remain a fan of your writing forever.
