Foo Fighters have started their 2008 North American tour from January 16th. Their first stop was Sunrise in FL. About 7 US dates have been added to the itinerary since the last time the dates were revealed. On February 19, the band will perform live in New York at Madison Square Garden. They are scheduled to perform in arena shows in Orlando, Birmingham in AL, Houston, Pensacola I FL, and later, in Minneapolis.
The whole of America is caught up with Foo Fighters musical fever! The last time when Foo Fighters had performed in the southern and eastern part of America, the crowd had gone hysterical. They had also scheduled visits to 8 cities across Canada. The songs presented during the tour are still on the lips of people!
Foo Fighters, a Grammy award winner band, has recently declared a series of concerts in Australia and New Zealand in the months of April and May, respectively. They are also scheduled for a stop of two nights at the Wembley Stadium in London on June 6 and 7. Such is the craze of watching this band perform live that all the seats of the Stadium have already sold out!
Recently, the band had made a deep impact on the minds of audience with their stunning performances during a two-night tour at the O2 arena in the UK. Both the shows went house-full!
The Foo Fighters, during their tour, have planned to support their sixth album, “Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.” It had reached the third position on The Billboard 200 in the month of September. “The Pretender”, which is a lead single, continues to dominate the modern rock chart even after 4 months of its release. The latest single of Foo Fighters, “Long Road to Ruin” has flooded the MySpace page of the band. Every song of this band has the power to sensationalize the world of music!
