Optimizing each page of your content for specific keywords will aid search engines to include your content in the results when users search for that word or phrase. Depending on the competition you could find yourself right at the top of search engine results after the search engine finds your page.
-> 2. Providing Quality Information; The Internet runs on information! Providing - quality - information is like giving honey to the bees, search engines crave 'quality' information. Internet users too like quality information. By creating information you become a valuable resource for other websites who will link to you, providing valuable links to your website. What is information? News related to your topic, updates, commentary, tips and hints. Good ‘how-to…’ articles and pieces almost always draw a crowd.
-> 3. Web Pages; Here's a fact, websites NEED pages. The more, the better. Websites with pages of real, quality content and relevant links to other sites are the #1 feeding ground for search engines. Steadily adding pages of real content to your site is a sure-fire way of attracting search engine spiders on a regular basis. Here's an easy way to understand this: quality content + regular regular spider visits = more relevant pages + higher search engine ranking = more visitors and sales.
-> 4. Newsletters; A newsletter is a great way of providing quality content to your subscriber list. Don't have a list of subscribers? Quality content is a great way to build a super list. Regularly providing quality content via a newsletter is an excellent way of building relationships and trust with your readers. Once you have developed a strong relationship with your readers you can promote your products, services and affiliate links.
-> 5. Free Reports; Free reports are a great way to attract subscribers to your newsletter. Free reports can also be given away by other people (on related websites) with a link to YOUR website inside. These folks are happy to get quality information they can provide to their users and you get the traffic that follows!

Article directories get spidered by the search engines on a regular basis because of the high value of the content they provide. The other big benefit is other websites will use your article for content on their site or in their newsletters, you get credit as the author and a link to your website.
-> 7. Other Websites; Offer quality content directly to other websites. They'll love the content! You'll gain credibility as an expert in your topic and get valuable links back to your website.
-> 8. Forums; Search for forums that discuss something related to your website. Spend a little time ‘lurking’ to become familiar with the forum discussions and rules. Virtually all forums forbid spamming and blatant advertising is rarely appreciated as well. The best way to share quality content in a forum is by offering relevant, free advice to forum members. Having a link to your website in your signature is an accepted way of pointing members back to your website.
-> 9. Link and Resource Pages; Are you creating link pages filled with any kind of link anyone offers to impress the search engines? If you are, stop right now! Instead of having pages of 100's of unrelated ‘linking partners’, get fewer but much higher quality links to gain credibility AND provide more content for search engine spiders. One great technique is to build a separate page for each link category and write 200-400 words of content on that subject. Placing relevant links at the end of articles and web pages will also make you a source for information rather than just a catalogue of links. And optimizing each page for popular keywords will bring more traffic to your site than links alone.

Press Release; A press release with quality content about newsworthy events, new products and services, accomplishments, poll results and other information is a great way of getting media attention. To create your own press release, go to www.PRweb.com and read other press releases posted there. When you are familiar with the format, write your own press release and submit it. Avoid advertising copy and be sure to highlight a new thought or angle to make your press release newsworthy for publishers to use.
-> 11. Newspaper; Press releases work just as well in your local/national newspaper as they do at online news websites. Submit your press release to the editor or the writer for the section of the newspaper you want to target. You could also try writing your own column, giving helpful tips and related information on your topic. Include your website address in your resource box at the end of your column.
-> 12. Magazine Articles; Just like online magazines, printed magazines are always in need of fresh, quality content. Offering your articles to off-line magazine editors is something online marketer's rarely do. The payoff could be big.

You're not putting a lot of content in these ads, but what you do use needs to be effective.
-> 14. Offline Brochures and Flyers; Another method rarely used by online marketers. Print up some brochures and flyers about your product or service. Give them to friends and family, post them on community bulletin boards, leave them in places others who might be interested in what you are offering will find them. If you've got some real chutzpah, go to a mall parking lot a put a flyer on each car!

-> 16. Article Announcement Lists; Article announcement lists are similar to article directories in that your article will be seen by webmasters and publishers who are looking for quality content to use on their website or in their newsletter.
The difference is members of article announcement lists sign up to receive new articles by email. Your article gets sent directly to members interested in your topic. For example, Yahoo! Groups allow anyone to browse lists of topics and sign up to receive notice when a new articles is posted.
-> 17. Publish an eCourse; Create a multi-lesson/email/page tutorial that can be given to subscribers or by other websites.
Like a report, you can offer an eCourse as a freebie or bonus to subscribe to your mailing list. Readers receive valuable tips and information while being directed to your site at the end of each lesson. Delivering an eCourse over several weeks enables you to develop a relationship with your reader regardless of whether they received your eCourse from you or someone else.

Setup An Affiliate Program; Create an affiliate program for your products and help your affiliates drive traffic to your site by providing letters or reports they can use on their websites and newsletters. Your affiliates need quality content for their readers as well. If you provide quality content for free they'll send more traffic and you'll sell more product!

Not to mention a blog that provides quality content on a topic is an excellent way of attracting readers who would otherwise not respond to a sales page. Providing content and news on a topic with links to articles or sales pages on your website is an effective way of driving traffic to your website.
-> 20. Other Peoples’ Blogs; Your content is even more valuable to other bloggers who can't or find it difficult to create their own content. Offering your quality content - with a link to your website in the author's box - to other relevant blogs is a great way to drive traffic to your website.
-> 21. Be a Contributing Writer; If you have excellent writing skills and expertise offer an online or offline magazine or newsletter your services as a contributing writer. Writing and publishing a regular column on your topic is a great way of generating consistent traffic to your website.
