Recently I was speaking to someone who was interested in our opportunity, only to find his answer was "Network Marketing sucks!" I asked him more questions and found the answer why he was not to pleased with Network Marketing.
This guy was not happy with Network Marketing because his friend once talked him out of the opportunity. When I found out which opportunity it was, I realized that many did go on to be successful, though same as everything there was failure rates.
I found it amazing that someone could quite easily talk someone else out of a way which has risk, but also the risk is so small compared to the rewards possible. Here follows a thought to consider before putting your future in the hands of others.
::: What your best friend never told you about Network Marketing ::: Imagine you decided to join a top Network Marketing company. You feel excited at the prospects of being part of something big, of being part of the top Multilevel Marketing opportunity. Your best friend Tom comes to visit. You think to yourself fantastic! You can now show your best friend Tom this great home based business opportunity you have found.
So you say to Tom "Tom I have found this amazing Network Marketing opportunity and I want us to work together", but Tom has different ideas. Tom starts telling you Network Marketing is a scam. I have tried Network Marketing, and it's no use, he says. Tom says "I asked all of my friends and family, and everyone said no". Tom goes on and on, and you can't even get a word in edgeways. By the end of your discussion Tom has made you so sceptical of Network Marketing that however much you try to succeed in Network Marketing that seed thought that Tom planted in your mind will stick for a long, long time.
More seasoned Network MLM Marketers can handle these kind of objections, even from loved ones. Network MLM Marketers who have been Network Marketing for years have gone through all these hurdles. However, for someone new it can be detrimental to your self esteem, self confidence and ultimately your success now and in the future.
What Tom never told you is the facts of why he failed in Network Marketing. So, let's rewind a bit to after Tom tells us that he failed in Network Marketing
So Tom why did you join Network Marketing? Tom tells you, he joined because he thought within the next six months he would become a millionaire through Network Marketing. You ask Tom but how long did you spend in the business opportunity. Tom tells you he would spend about an hour daily, but because there was interesting stuff on television he would end up spending one or two hours a week on the Network Marketing opportunity.
When you have passion for the home based business, the equation for success starts to form. This equation is passion (for your home based business) = profits. Success must be earned and thus takes time. Most people invest more time into their television than their home based business opportunity. You must be professional with your Network Marketing home based business and set a reasonable amount of time to make your home based business a success.
On the balance of both sides of the argument, there are many people who are part of a Network Marketing opportunity and earn substantial amounts of money, while work at home. There are also many people who just don't give Network Marketing the time it requires to be successful. Network Marketing is a business and we must be professional about Network Marketing.
Is failure possible in Network Marketing? Yes. Can you turn out saying Network Marketing sucks? Yes. In all walks in life there is no guarantee of success. But, what we do with the challenge is what counts. When we can prepare for an opportunity, and give it our all - so that we can live a lofty dream, we ultimately get to a better place than never attempting the journey to success.
