There are plenty of options in embellishing your online profile. The easiest way is to copy and paste codes for decorating straight onto your MySpace page. You can find a plethora of these codes at many websites by simply googling, "How do I decorate MySpace?" These codes are available to change your background color or image, or vary your font and the color of it. You can also add bold and italic fonts just like you can in the Word program. You can even incorporate audio to your MySpace profile with a variety of music or sounds.
Adding Images
To decorate your MySpace account with images, begin by logging onto your account and clicking on "Edit Profile". At this point, you can choose selections from the MySpace library that include images from television, music and books. Or you can add your own photos and embellishments if you prefer. Make sure that any photos you choose are hosted by another website, such as Photobucket. You can also choose to add bling to your page with GIF files that will provide sparkle in words and images. Some of them will even allow you to customize your selection.
Adding Music
Use caution when selecting music that is not a part of the MySpace community, since some of these choices may cause browsers to crash. MySpace has a great selection of both music and videos so you can find the perfect way to dress up your MySpace profile with your unique taste and flair. You can also embed YouTube video into your MySpace profile if you like.
Creating Layouts
You can use tools to decorate your MySpace account by creating layouts that can be stored and used when you are ready for them. Create a different layout every month or make up a year's worth of layouts that will reflect all of the major holidays and season changes. If you prefer not to sign up for one of these layout tools, check out many of the free sites available that will provide you with everything you need to create a really cool MySpace profile. There are also tutorials available to teach you how to use all of these fabulous tools for the greatest benefit.
Creating a MySpace profile is only half the battle. Once you've got that page up and running, you will need to do your part to pretty up the site and keep it looking good. Fortunately, there are plenty of great tools, templates and suggestions to help you out. Cyberspace never looked so good.
