The website that will be yours is identical to the actual business’s website. The only difference is that your unique code is in the URL so that the company can track your sales. Every time someone goes to the site through your code and purchases something, you will make a commission of whatever that company offers.
When you sign up as an affiliate paid member, you should receive marketing tools to help promote your unique code. Things like banners and graphics that direct visitors to your personal website should be given to you. This way you can place the banners on your actual website to promote your affiliate website.
As for how you get paid, every program is different. Some programs pay every week or two through paypal while other programs will send out checks to your home every week or two. It is also not surprising to find some programs that pay once every month.
Getting into affiliate marketing is a great way for you to pick up some additional income. It requires far less effort than running your own home business and allows you to get experience with marketing. You will find that getting paid as an affiliate paid member is a fairly simple process and extremely quick as well.
